Melco Crown posts sixfold rise in earnings

Melco Crown Entertainment posted a sixfold surge in fourth-quarter earnings as gaming revenue rose strongly. The Macau casino venture is co-owned by Australian billionaire James Packer and Lawrence Ho Yau-lung, the son of Macau gaming magnate Stanley Ho Hung-sun.
