Federal NDP opposes Nexen takeover bid
The federal NDP says it opposes a bid by Chinese company CNOOC to take over Nexen, the Calgary-based oil company. Prime Minister Stephen Harper says that doesn’t surprise him, calling the New Democrats “ideologically socialist.”
