USA TODAY Stocks closed mixed Thursday as the market gave back most of its earlier gains and a tech stock rebound faded. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 30 points, or 0.2%, to 16,548, after earlier topping its record close and rising as high as 16,622.95. |
