Once upon a time, in very different market conditions, a firm called China Metal Recycling went public. It was 2009, and the offer price had been set at HK$ 5.18 a share, but investors in that feverish era were so eager for CMR shares that the stock price doubled to HK$ 11.38 in just five months of trading.
