Shares of Lenovo Group Ltd , which is on track to become the world’s No.1 PC maker, rose more than 5 percent to their highest in nearly three months on Friday after bullish calls by analysts based on its second-quarter results.

The Chinese company reported on Thursday a 13 per cent rise in quarterly net profit to US$ 162 million, beating the US$ 156.3 million consensus forecast of analysts.
