Dow, S&P 500 tally first weekly loss in seven
MarketWatch … leaving the blue chips 0.7% lower on the week. The S&P 500 index (US:spx) gained 9.05 points, or 0.7%, to 1,411.13, down 0.5% from the week-ago close. The Nasdaq Composite (US:comp) added 16.39 points, or 0.5%, to 3,069.79, off 0.2% for the week.
