Air cargo tonnage handled by Hong Kong’s airport rebounded by 18.6 per cent year on year last month after sustained shrinkage since April. It had dropped 17.5 per cent in January. The turnaround was partly due to the Lunar New Year falling in February last year and in January this year. Combining the figures for both months, cargo volume dropped 2.3 per cent from a year ago, apace with a 7 per cent drop in exports. Passenger traffic rose 7.5 per cent to nine million in the first two months. Anita Lam
